Overview
This policy explains what information GlobeTempus Plus (“the app”), published by CarryApps, handles and why. The app is designed to work on your device: it has no user accounts and does not ask for your name or email address.
Data Stored on Your Devices
GlobeTempus Plus stores your selected cities, their titles, availability schedules, and display preferences on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, your city list is also synced through your private iCloud account (iCloud key-value storage) so it appears on your other devices, such as the GlobeTempus+ Mac app. We have no access to this data. Your current location and the nearby city resolved from it are never synced.
Onboarding status and purchase-access state stay on each device. To remove synced data, delete the app on all your devices or turn off iCloud for GlobeTempus+ in Settings.
Location
If you allow location access, the app uses your device’s location to show your local time, daylight, and the matching city illustration. Location is processed on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party. The app works without location access.
Calendar Access
If you enable calendar features, the app requests access to calendar data through Apple’s EventKit framework. Calendar information is used on-device to display availability and events. The app does not upload your calendar data to a developer-operated server.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple may process purchase history, payment, account, and device information under Apple’s privacy policy. GlobeTempus Plus receives signed transaction and entitlement information, but does not receive your payment-card details.
Analytics and Tracking
GlobeTempus Plus uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous product-usage events, such as paywall views and purchase-flow outcomes, so we can improve the app and its offers. These events do not contain your name, email address, precise location, calendar content, payment details, or advertising identifier. A randomly generated installation identifier is cryptographically hashed before transmission. The app does not use this data for cross-app tracking or advertising.
Your Choices
You can revoke location or calendar access at any time in iOS Settings, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account, and remove app data by deleting the app on all your devices.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app’s data practices change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
